Regional Vice President - Midwest Region

Jorge joined Winthrop Management in 2005 and currently oversees the Midwest region, covering Chicago and Indianapolis and comprising more than 5 million square feet of multi and single-tenant office buildings as well as a team of approximately 30 professionals. He works directly with all partnerships to strategically manage each asset to maximize investment returns and asset value. In 2007, the average occupancy for the portfolio was consistently at 90%, well above the Chicago and Indianapolis submarket averages.

Jorge additionally serves as Asset Manager and is part of a team that oversees a $400 million mezzanine loan between Winthrop Realty Trust and Marc Realty for 3.1 million square feet of multi-tenant office buildings in the Chicago area. His nearly 15 years of professional experience includes several years with a publicly-traded, full-service, integrated real estate company, working in positions of increasing responsibility, eventually being named general manager.
